100 Days At Sea Beginner Survival Guide

Day 1 — Spawn and Codes

Spawn on Starter Island dock. Open inventory — note starting tools. Redeem active codes via how to redeem: SEAADVENTURE, STRANDEDDEVS, 100DAYS from codes. Spend zero Pearls day one — observe free Sailor boat handling passive first.

Gather Wood and Stone immediately. Craft Fishing Rod (5 Wood + 3 Rope + 1 Hook) and Bonfire (5 Wood + 3 Stone + 1 Flint) from crafting. Fish for food — hunger kills faster than sharks on Day 1.

Open STRANDEDDEVS Companion Chest with inventory space. Equip best roll per companions — Frog for hunger, Turtle for health, Shark for future melee.

Days 2–4 — First Raft and Jungle Sail

Craft Wooden Raft (10 Wood + 5 Rope) — mobile base mandatory before ocean travel. Expand inventory with early gathering on Starter Island Coconuts and Stone.

Learn controls from controls: movement, inventory, raft boarding, Bonfire cooking. Cook every fish — raw fish less efficient than cooked meals.

Sail to Jungle Island when Wooden Raft complete and Bonfire stocked. Gather Tropical Fruit, Vines, and Wood. Jungle has no boss — safe farming zone per islands.

Craft Raft Expansion (15 Wood + 8 Rope + 5 Nails) before extended Jungle sessions. Camper class (+10% building speed) accelerates if you spent 100DAYS Pearls on unlock.

Days 5–7 — Grinder and Medkit Stock

Optional Desert Island scout for Scrap Metal if confident — otherwise continue Jungle food stock. Grinder (10 Scrap Metal + 5 Stone) requires Desert resources; delay until Day 7–10 if unprepared.

Craft Medkits (5 Cloth + 3 Herbs + 1 Alcohol) — stock five before any boss attempt. Medic class Medkit starter helps but batch crafting still required.

Merchant class (+20% sell price) on Jungle vendor flips funds future class unlocks. Survivor (20 Pearls) best first Pearl spend if Sailor feels limiting.

Days 8–10 — Desert Island Prep

Before Desert Island Sand Worm: craft Flintlock Pistol (10 Iron + 5 Gunpowder + 3 Wood) OR unlock Cowboy (35 Pearls) or Sharpshooter (55 Pearls). Ranged weapon mandatory per bosses.

If skipping Desert temporarily: farm Shipwreck Island Iron first via early sail — risky without Medkits. Standard route: Desert Sand Worm then Shipwreck Ghost Captain per survive day 100.

Co-op friends: redeem codes individually, pick complementary classes from tier list — one Crewmate, one combat, avoid four Sailors without roles.

Beginner Mistakes to Avoid

Skipping codes redemption — BERMUDA expired skin on expired proves limited-time rewards vanish.

Sailing at night without Bonfire warm food stock — night hunger and cold chip damage compound.

Spending 100DAYS Pearls on Fire Mage (80) or Ancient Squid (80) before learning basics — bank toward Survivor or Medic.

Melee-only Sand Worm attempt — bring Flintlock Pistol or ranged class.
